2024 Musto Australian Optimist Championships

Three young Maroochy sailors recently competed n the National Optimist Championships at the Brighton and Seacliffe Yacht Club in Adelaide.

They performed creditably, all making the Championship Gold Fleet for the Regatta Final.

Congratulations to Sam Derbyshire (48th), Henry Walker (41st) and Morgan Grieve (43rd) for their efforts. Both Morgan and Sam managed to get some top ten placings during the regatta!   Really excellent sailing in a high quality Fleet with top young sailors from throughout Australia!
